This course provides an essential understanding of common equine pathologies and the contraindications for bodywork and equipment-based therapies. Students will learn to identify red flags, recognize when to refer to a veterinarian, and understand how certain conditions may impact or limit treatment options. Topics include infectious diseases, acute and chronic injuries, metabolic disorders, neurological conditions, and other health concerns relevant to therapeutic decision-making.
